Yvette Cooper has revealed the findings of a review into child sex abuse by grooming gangs to MPs. The home secretary said Baroness Louise Casey’s review into child sex abuse by grooming gangs found suspects were often "disproportionately likely" to be Asian men. The shadow business minister has claimed the government has "lost control" as record numbers of migrants crossed the channel this weekend. More than 1,100 migrants arrived in the UK after crossing the English Channel on Saturday, the highest number recorded so far in 2025.
