The U.S. has imposed new sanctions on Sudan following allegations that Khartoum’s military used chlorine gas during its war with the RSF. The sanctions restrict arms sales, financing, and exports to Sudan’s government for at least one year, though humanitarian aid and agricultural products remain exempt.
