US HITS Sudan With Sanctions Over CHEMICAL WEAPONS Use | Army Accused Of Chlorine Gas War Crimes

The U.S. has imposed new sanctions on Sudan following allegations that Khartoum’s military used chlorine gas during its war with the RSF.

The sanctions restrict arms sales, financing, and exports to Sudan’s government for at least one year, though humanitarian aid and agricultural products remain exempt.

Washington calls the attacks part of a wider crisis that has killed tens of thousands and displaced 13 million.

Sudan’s government denies the claims, calling them “political blackmail.” The U.N.
