Telangana Tunnel Collapse: Rescue Teams Deploy Plasma Cutters, Heavy Machinery To Save 8 Workers

Rescue teams continue their mission to save eight trapped workers inside the partially collapsed SLBC tunnel in Telangana’s Nagarkurnool.

Plasma cutters, high-grade shutters, and debris removal machinery have been brought in, with the South Central Railway joining the efforts.

Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy estimates the rescue will conclude within three days, while tunnel work may resume in a few months.

Contact with the trapped workers remains impossible.

The Army, Navy, NDRF, and rat miners are working tirelessly to ensure a breakthrough while prioritizing safety.
