Funeral held for nine-year old Alice da Silva Aguiar
Hundreds of people have paid their respects to one of the three girls killed in the Southport attacks.
Alice da Silva Aguiar, aged nine, died from her injuries in hospital a day after a knifeman attacked children attending a Taylor Swift-themed dance class.

A three-minute silence was observed at 3pm on Tuesday in Southport to mark one year since the attack. Bebe King, six, Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, and Alice da Silva Aguiar, nine, were all killed at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class on 29th July 2024. People were asked not to leave flowers at the scene or at the schools the girls attended as the town continues to rebuild after the tragedy. Report by Jonesia. The Government has pledged £5 million for a renovation project in memory of the three young girls murdered in Southport.
