Southport victim's aunt speaks of family's 'immense' pain
The aunt of nine-year-old Alice DaSilva Aguiar, who was killed in the Southport stabbing, shared the family's "immense pain." Albertina Freitas told ITV News, "My brother-in-law is in such a state that he can't even talk.
He just clings to the girl's things." Alice was killed at a Taylor Swift holiday workshop in Southport, where six-year-old Bebe King and seven-year-old Elsie Dot Stancombe were also fatally injured.

A three-minute silence was observed at 3pm on Tuesday in Southport to mark one year since the attack. Bebe King, six, Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, and Alice da Silva Aguiar, nine, were all killed at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class on 29th July 2024. The Government has pledged £5 million for a renovation project in memory of the three young girls murdered in Southport.
