DRDO Chairman Dr Samir V Kamat is confident that India will achieve its defence export target of Rs 50,000 crore by 2028-29, driven by strong interest in indigenous systems like Pinaka and Brahmos. Defence exports reached a record Rs 23,622 crore in 2024-25, with overall defence production hitting Rs 1.
