Air India crash: One week on, debris remains at site; investigation continues
Thursday, 19 June 2025 () A week after the Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad that killed 274, the AAIB continues its investigation, with debris still at the site. The FDR and CVR have been recovered, potentially revealing the cause of the crash. The NTSB is also conducting a parallel probe due to the aircraft's American origin, while local authorities assist with site operations.
Several dozen people gathered at the Place du Panthéon in Paris on Thursday against the conflict between Israel and Iran, prompted by a call from several Iranian human rights associations. Participants, mostly Franco-Iranian, called for an "immediate ceasefire" and for the protection of civilians. "It's terrifying, not only for the Iranians and the Israelis, it's terrifying for all the civilians in the region," says Darya Djavahery Farsi, a French-Iranian student attending the protest.
