Several dozen people gathered at the Place du Panthéon in Paris on Thursday against the conflict between Israel and Iran, prompted by a call from several Iranian human rights associations.
Participants, mostly Franco-Iranian, called for an "immediate ceasefire" and for the protection of civilians.
"It's terrifying, not only for the Iranians and the Israelis, it's terrifying for all the civilians in the region," says Darya Djavahery Farsi, a French-Iranian student attending the protest.

In a significant escalation, Yemen's Houthi rebels have claimed a major missile strike against Israel's primary international gateway, Ben Gurion Airport.
