Cops get swift promotions in Chhattisgarh for anti-Maoist ops

Chhattisgarh government has granted out-of-turn promotions to 295 police officers for their bravery in combating Maoists, aiming to eliminate Naxal insurgency by March 2026. These promotions recognize the exceptional courage displayed by lower and middle-rank personnel during anti-Naxal operations. Deputy CM Vijay Sharma emphasized the security forces' role in ending the era of Red terror in Bastar.
