7 Maoists shot dead: 3 in Jharkhand, 4 in Chhattisgarh

In separate encounters on Saturday, security forces neutralized Maoist threats in Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh. Three members of the banned JJMP splinter group were killed in Gumla, Jharkhand, following a planned security operation. Simultaneously, in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district, at least four Maoists were killed during an ongoing encounter, with weapons and explosives recovered from the site.
