IED blast injures three villagers in insurgency-hit Bijapur in Chhattisgarh
Friday, 30 May 2025 () In Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district, three villagers were severely injured by an IED blast, marking the first civilian attack since the death of Maoist leader Basavaraju. The victims, identified as Vivek Dhodi, Badde Sunil, and Gote Joga, sustained splinter injuries while walking near Bandepara village.
The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has released graphic and unfiltered footage of the dramatic hijack of the Jaffar Express, dubbed Operation Darra-e-Bolan, carried out on March 11. Armed with rocket launchers and IEDs, BLA insurgents sabotaged train tracks and ambushed the train inside a tunnel, capturing over 300 Pakistan military personnel. While women and children were released, the BLA used the platform to issue a rallying cry for resistance, denouncing Pakistan’s alleged extrajudicial killings and accusing the UN of ignoring what they call a Baloch genocide. Pakistan's military claims to have rescued 354 hostages and killed 33 militants, while the BLA asserts higher enemy casualties and continued resistance.
