RS passes waqf bill 128-95 as BJD boosts NDA numbers

The Rajya Sabha passed the Waqf (Amendment) Bill after a 15-hour debate, with 128 votes in favor and 95 against. The bill, already approved by the Lok Sabha, now awaits the President's assent. Minority affairs minister Kiren Rijiju defended the bill, asserting it involves both Muslims and non-Muslims.
