Sr NTPC official shot dead in Jharkhand, mafia hand suspected

A deputy GM at NTPC's Keredari coal mines was shot dead in Jharkhand’s Hazaribag district, likely due to coal mining mafia involvement. Kumar Gaurav was ambushed while on his way to work. He is the fourth official killed in Jharkhand's coal sector in five years. Police detained six people and launched a special investigation.
