Two women Naxalites killed in inter-state anti-Naxalite operation in Chhattisgarh

Two female Naxalites were killed in an encounter with security forces in Gariaband district, Chhattisgarh. A CoBRA commando suffered minor injuries and was transported to Raipur for treatment. The joint operation involved Chhattisgarh and Odisha's security forces and resulted in the recovery of the Naxalites' bodies.

Chhattisgarh Naxal Encounter: 22 Maoists Killed, DRG Jawan Injured In Two Encounters In Chhattisgarh

Chhattisgarh Naxal Encounter: In a major anti-Naxal operation, security forces in Chhattisgarh's Bastar division neutralized 22 Maoists in two separate encounters. The first gunfight took place in the dense forests along the Bijapur-Dantewada border, where 18 Maoists were killed. Another encounter in Kanker district led to the elimination of four more insurgents. A District Reserve Guard (DRG) jawan was injured in the operation. Weapons and explosives were recovered from the sites.
