Pradhan, Kharge spar over vacant SC/ST teaching posts in varsities
Tuesday, 5 November 2024 Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan refuted Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge's allegations of neglecting reserved teaching positions in central universities. Pradhan called the claims lies, stating that the Modi government has significantly reduced vacancies since 2014. He highlighted that while sanctioned posts increased, the overall vacancy rate dropped to 26.
