Constitution Day: Congress mounts attacks on PM Modi, RSS over statute, pushes for caste census

Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge criticized PM Modi for praising the Constitution, citing RSS's past disapproval of it for not being based on "Manusmriti." Kharge demanded an apology from RSS and questioned Modi's silence on their stance. He also accused Modi of fearing a caste census and highlighted Congress's commitment to it. He said Modi is scared of caste census because every community will seek its share, adding census has started in Telangana, and every Congress-governed state will undertake it.
