After meeting doctors, Mamata Banerjee shunts Kolkata top cop, 2 senior health officers

Following five weeks of protests sparked by the RG Kar hospital rape-murder, Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has agreed to remove four top officials after a two-hour meeting with junior doctors. The government expects these doctors, who have been on strike since August 9, to return to work for public welfare.
