Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov downplayed Donald Trump’s prediction that there is a 25% chance the upcoming Alaska summit with President Vladimir Putin could fail. Speaking ahead of the high-stakes talks, Lavrov said Russia would not engage in forecasting outcomes, emphasizing that Moscow has “arguments and a clear, definite position” ready for the meeting.
