Thousands Flood Sydney Harbour Bridge In Historic Pro-Palestine Rally Despite Court Battle, Rain

In a dramatic show of defiance and solidarity, over 90,000 protesters flooded Sydney Harbour Bridge on Sunday in what organisers hailed as a "historic" pro-Palestinian demonstration.

Despite heavy rain and a last-minute legal battle, the Supreme Court authorised the event just 24 hours prior.

The peaceful protest, dubbed the "March for Humanity", featured families, activists, and notable figures like Julian Assange, MP Ed Husic, and ex-NSW Premier Bob Carr.

Chants of “Ceasefire now” echoed across the bridge as riot police stood guard.

The NSW Police had initially tried to block the protest, citing safety risks, but the court found no evidence a ban would enhance security.
