Starmer confirms voting age to be lowered to 16
Sir Keir Starmer sets out plans to lower the voting age to 16 ahead of the next General Election, saying if people are old enough to work and pay taxes, they should have a say in what you want your money spent on.
The prime minister also said he was pleased to ‘bring more young people into our democracy’.
