The UK's nuclear weapons centre in Berkshire is set to be expanded, the defence secretary has said. John Healey visited the Atomic Weapons Establishment (AWE) at Aldermaston to mark its 75th anniversary, saying the site is providing security for "generations to come".

A sword attacker has been found guilty of virtually decapitating a schoolboy and injuring five more people during a rampage he compared to The Hunger Games.
