Air India CRASH Is FIRST Dreamliner Fatality Since 2009 | Disaster KILLS 240 Near Ahmedabad

An Air India Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner crashed shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad, marking the first fatal accident involving this flagship long-haul aircraft.

The doomed flight had 242 people onboard, including foreign nationals.

Designed for fuel efficiency and long-range travel, the 787-8 has faced a history of safety concerns—most notably battery fires and structural warnings from Boeing whistleblowers.

Delivered in 2014, the crashed aircraft was 11 years old.
