Largest ever auction of Diana's clothes to take place
A clothing sale of some of Princess Diana's most celebrated looks is set to take place in Beverly Hills on Thursday.
An exhibition with some of the selected pieces went on display at an exclusive private exhibition at the Peninsula Hotel in London ahead of the auction.
Speaking at the exhibition, Elizabeth Emanuel - who designed Diana's wedding dress for her 1981 wedding to King Charles - said: "People want to be closer to her.
She was just such a pure soul, such a good and wonderful person and people want to remember her through whatever means."

Rosie Jeanne Burke Roche, a 20-year-old distant cousin of Prince William and Prince Harry, was found dead on July 14, 2025, at her family home in Norton. A firearm was discovered near her body, and authorities have declared the death "non-suspicious" with no third-party involvement.
Rosie, a student of English Literature at Durham University, was the granddaughter of Princess Diana’s uncle, making her a relative of the British royal family. Her sudden death marks another gun-related tragedy within the extended royal circle, following the 2024 death of Thomas Kingston, husband of Lady Gabriella Kingston.
This segment explores who Rosie Roche was, her royal connection, and the troubling similarities to previous royal-adjacent deaths. We also look at the official response, what’s known about the investigation, and the family's plans for a private funeral and public memorial.
