Israel unleashes LARGEST-EVER Reservist call-up | Gaza braces for escalation
In a major escalation, Israel has approved its largest-ever call-up of 50,000 reservists under Operation Gideonās Chariots in Gaza, raising the total to 450,000.
The emergency āOrder 8ā will remain in effect until August 31, 2025, enabling rapid deployment.
Despite global and domestic opposition, Israel continues its twin ground offensives in Gaza amid growing humanitarian concerns.

EU member states could not rally the support necessary to suspend Israel from the Horizon Europe fund in response to the war in Gaza. The proposal needed a qualified majority of member states to pass it. But two of the largest countries - Germany and Italy - said they need more time to examine it.
