Rs 2 Crore FRAUD in India using TRUMP’s Face | 200 people duped in Karnataka in Trump’s name

Over 200 people across Karnataka have fallen prey to a deepfake scam involving an AI-generated video of U.S. President Donald Trump, promoting a fake investment scheme.

Victims were lured into downloading a fraudulent app posing as a Trump Hotels investment platform, with promises of daily returns and work-from-home income.

The cybercrime police have registered cases in Bengaluru, Tumakuru, Mangaluru, and Haveri, with estimated losses exceeding ₹2 crores.

Investigations are ongoing.
