The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has released graphic and unfiltered footage of the dramatic hijack of the Jaffar Express, dubbed Operation Darra-e-Bolan, carried out on March 11.
Armed with rocket launchers and IEDs, BLA insurgents sabotaged train tracks and ambushed the train inside a tunnel, capturing over 300 Pakistan military personnel.
While women and children were released, the BLA used the platform to issue a rallying cry for resistance, denouncing Pakistan’s alleged extrajudicial killings and accusing the UN of ignoring what they call a Baloch genocide.
Pakistan's military claims to have rescued 354 hostages and killed 33 militants, while the BLA asserts higher enemy casualties and continued resistance.
In a bold move, Baloch nationalist leader Mir Yar Baloch has declared the symbolic independence of the Republic of Balochistan from Pakistan. In a bold message on X, he urged India and the United Nations to recognize Balochistan as a sovereign nation. He denounced Pakistan’s decades-long oppression of Balochs and called out global silence.
