VIDEO: Mexican Navy Ship Crashes Into Brooklyn Bridge During NY Goodwill Visit | New York | U.S
A Mexican Navy training vessel, the ARM Cuauhtemoc, collided with the Brooklyn Bridge on Saturday evening in New York.
The ship’s 171-foot masts struck the bridge’s 127-foot clearance at high tide, causing parts of the rigging to collapse.
Multiple videos show the masts toppling dramatically.
The ship, carrying 277 crew members, was in New York ahead of the 250th US independence anniversary.
Dozens were reportedly injured, including three critically.
Emergency responders were seen pulling people from the water.
Officials are investigating the miscalculation that led to the crash.
