India Deploys Russian Igla-S Missiles Along Border Amid Pahalgam Attack Fallout

India has received a fresh shipment of Russian Igla-S air defence missiles amid rising tensions with Pakistan following the Pahalgam terror attack.

The missiles, capable of intercepting low-flying aircraft and drones, are being rapidly deployed to forward border areas.

Procured under emergency powers, the INR 200 crore deal boosts India's short-range air defence.

The Army and Air Force are expanding their arsenal with additional orders, indigenous drone-killer systems, and mobile radar units, signalling a high state of readiness amid speculation of a potential Indian military response
