U.S- Iran War: United States may request Turkey to remain neutral and avoid interference in Syrian airspace if a conflict with Iran erupts, Hurriyet reports. The matter could be discussed during an upcoming meeting between President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Donald Trump. Erdoğan is reportedly opposed to any Israeli aggression against Iran, calling it regionally destabilizing. Trump is expected to visit Turkey in May following trips to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE. If not, Erdoğan may head to Washington in June for crucial bilateral talks focused on the Middle East.
