Protesters demand Israeli government reach hostage release deal with Hamas
During Hamas' surprise incursion into southern Israel in October last year, the militants killed at least 1,200 people and took around 250 others hostage and brought them to Gaza.
In a powerful display of unity and outrage, hundreds of thousands of Yemenis marched through the streets of Sana'a for the latest âmillion-manâ rally in solidarity with the Palestinian people. The rally, held amid the ongoing US-Israeli military campaign in Gaza, turned the Yemeni capital into a sea of Palestinian flags and anti-imperialist slogans. Protesters condemned what they described as a genocide against Gazaâs population, holding the United States and Israel fully responsible.
