Clashes in Syria Between SAA & HTS Spark Unrest, With Protests & Violence Spreading Nationwide
On December 26, 2024, violent clashes broke out in Syria between remnants of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) militants in the Tartous governorate.
The violence escalated after 14 HTS militants were killed in an ambush, attributed to former government loyalists.
