Iran’s Biggest Warning for Israel: Military Chief Warns of ‘Crushing’, ‘Beyond Imaginable’ Response
Iran has issued its strongest warning yet to Israel following last month’s airstrikes on Iranian territory.
Major General Mohammad Baqeri, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, declared that Tehran's retaliation would be “crushing” and “beyond the imagination” of the Israeli regime’s leaders.
Speaking on Tuesday, Baqeri revealed that Iran had already carried out two “different” operations against Israel and that the upcoming response would surpass all expectations.
France has launched an airdrop mission delivering 40 tonnes of emergency food aid into Gaza, in a dramatic response to an escalating famine crisis in the embattled Strip. Each of the four flights carried 10 tonnes of supplies, Foreign Minister Jean‑Noël Barrot confirmed—though he warned the gesture remains “insufficient.”
Barrot and President Macron demanded that Israel quickly reopen air, land, and sea routes to allow unhindered aid access, calling current conditions “absolutely intolerable.” A recent WHO report showed that since July, 5,000 children under five have been treated for acute malnutrition, and at least 63 have died of starvation. The move follows weeks of humanitarian pauses and airdrops by allies including Jordan, the UAE, Germany, and the UK—but global agencies warn only sustained land convoys can truly meet the desperate needs.
