Italian FM says ceasefire efforts are at the centre of G7 talks
"We are all in favour of a ceasefire in both scenarios (Gaza and Lebanon)," Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said during the G7 meeting in Italy.
Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch said: âWe just heard that inflation is up again, the worst in the G7. We left him with 2% inflation. We have borrowing up, unemployment up, taxes are up (..) his budget last year had high taxes. Thatâs why the economy is contracting.â Sir Keir Starmer replied: âI think of the working people across this country who put in every day and donât get back what they deserve, and thatâs who weâre working for. Thatâs who weâre fixing the country (for).â
