Government says supports put in place for flood victims
The environment secretary has said supports are being put in place for those affected by Storm Bert.
Steve Reed said a Floods Resilience Task Force has been set up to make sure the agencies on the ground in affected areas are able to offer as much support as possible.

Environment Secretary Steve Reed has warned the nationalisation would cost £100 billion and slow down efforts to cut pollution. Mr Reed said it was not the answer, adding: “It would involve years of legal wrangles and during that that time, there would be no investments into upgrading our sewage and water pipes.''
