‘Not Protest, It’s Terrorism’: Gantz Roars at Protesters after Flash Bombs Fired at Netanyahu’s Home

National Unity leader Benny Gantz condemned the recent flash bomb attack near Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's home, calling it "terrorism" and not a legitimate protest.

The attack, which occurred early Sunday morning, involved the firing of flares at Netanyahu's private residence in Caesarea.

While no damage or casualties were reported, the incident has sparked outrage among Israeli leaders.

Gantz, a vocal critic of Netanyahu, emphasised that lawful protest is the only acceptable form of opposition.

Culture and Sports Minister Miki Zohar, from Netanyahu's Likud party, used the attack to push for the completion of the controversial judicial overhaul, arguing that the incident reflected a failure of the justice system.

The Israeli Police and Shin Bet are investigating the attack, which marks a dangerous escalation amid rising tensions and violence directed at the Israeli government.
