France has launched an airdrop mission delivering 40 tonnes of emergency food aid into Gaza, in a dramatic response to an escalating famine crisis in the embattled Strip. Barrot and President Macron demanded that Israel quickly reopen air, land, and sea routes to allow unhindered aid access, calling current conditions âabsolutely intolerable.â A recent WHO report showed that since July, 5,000 children under five have been treated for acute malnutrition, and at least 63 have died of starvation.
