Rayner: Workers rights bill will be tabled next month
Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner has announced that Labour's flagship Employment Rights Bill will be presented before parliament next month.
She said the legislation would repeal "anti-worker laws" introduced by the Conservatives, end zero hour contracts and fire and rehire and bring in new protections for workers from day one of employment.

Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner confirmed that the government has secured the raw materials needed to keep Scunthorpe steel plant going. It comes as the government stepped in over the weekend to take it over from Chinese company Jingye after it threatened to shut down one of the furnaces today.
