Bosnian Serb leader Milorad Dodik rejects verdict appeal amid political turmoil
In an interview with Euronews Serbia, Milorad Dodik said that he would not attend the public hearing in the capital Sarajevo next Thursday, and considers the state-level court's verdict against him "null and void".

Poland charges Colombian with terrorism over arson attacks on behalf of Russia
The Internal Security Agency says the 27-year-old Colombian national was acting on behalf of Russian intelligence when he carried out two arson attacks in Poland last year. He faces up to 10 years in prison.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has issued a chilling warning: Ukraine’s potential EU membership could drag Hungary and the entire Eastern European region into war. Speaking bluntly, Orban said Ukraine’s entry would turn Hungary into a battlefield, risking the lives of young Hungarians and destabilizing regional peace. Despite Ukraine’s 2022 EU candidacy and Brussels pushing for 2030 accession, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia have voiced serious opposition, citing security, financial, and political consequences.
Orban also slammed the EU's seven-year budget proposal, claiming it's designed to fund Ukraine’s membership and could devastate the bloc. Hungary has already blocked several EU military aid packages to Kyiv and insists on a ceasefire. A recent referendum showed 95% of Hungarians oppose Ukraine’s EU entry. With mounting pressure from Brussels, Orban’s words now echo across a fragile Europe—will Ukraine’s EU dream come at the cost of continental peace?
