Palestinian minister for foreign affairs says the EU should sanction Israel over its violations in Gaza and the West Bank, in accordance with the EU’s own rules and values. She said despite a deal struck by the EU to increase aid into Gaza, civilians were still being killed trying to access food.

Iran has reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to continuing uranium enrichment as talks with European powers loom in Istanbul on July 25. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi declared that despite the recent US and Israeli strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities, the nation’s atomic program remains a symbol of "national pride" and non‑negotiable sovereignty.
Simultaneously, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi confirmed acceptance of a technical delegation from the IAEA in the coming weeks to discuss future cooperation modalities—but clarified they will not inspect nuclear sites or facilities.
European leaders from the UK, France, and Germany are set to press for an extension or activation of the JCPOA’s "snapback" sanctions mechanism unless Iran makes verifiable concessions, including limiting enriched uranium stockpiles and resuming full cooperation with inspectors. Tehran insists that any renewed US engagement must begin with rebuilding trust and rejecting military covert agendas
