Industrial tunnel collapses in LA: At least 15 workers trapped; rescue ops under way

31 workers were safely rescued from an industrial tunnel under construction in Wilmington, Los Angeles, after a partial collapse. The Los Angeles Fire Department deployed over 100 personnel, including Urban Search and Rescue teams, to the site on North Figueroa Street, the tunnel's only entry point. The tunnel, intended for wastewater, experienced the collapse several miles from the entrance.
