Tuesday, 1 July 2025 () Bryan Kohberger has reportedly agreed to plead guilty to the murders of four University of Idaho students to avoid the death penalty. The victims, Ethan Chapin, Xana Kernodle, Madison Mogen, and Kaylee Goncalves, were fatally stabbed in November 2022. The Goncalves family expressed anger towards the State of Idaho following the news of the plea deal.
