Gaza's health ministry reports 79 deaths in the last 24 hours due to Israeli strikes, with hospitals in the north inaccessible. Among the casualties were nine children of a pediatrician, Alaa Najjar, killed in Khan Younis; her husband was severely wounded, and their only surviving child is in critical condition.
