US President Donald Trump has threatened to revoke Harvard University's tax-exempt status, escalating his administration’s standoff with the nation’s oldest and wealthiest university. The threat follows Harvard’s rejection of federal demands to alter its hiring, admissions, and academic policies. Just a day prior, the administration froze more than $2 billion in federal funding to the university.
