Israel orders army to plan to let Palestinians leave Gaza

Israel's defence minister has ordered preparations for the "voluntary" departure of Palestinians from Gaza following a controversial proposal by US President Donald Trump to relocate them. The plan has faced global backlash, with the UN warning of "ethnic cleansing" and Palestinian leaders rejecting it as a violation of international law. While Israeli PM Netanyahu praised the proposal, the White House later clarified that any relocation would be temporary.
