Russian special forces end hostage crisis in Volgograd Prison, 4 ISIS-aligned inmates neutralised

A standoff at the IK-19 Surovikino penal colony in Russia's Volgograd region ended with Russian special forces killing four ISIS-aligned inmates who had taken hostages. The prisoners, armed with knives, injured several guards and seized control of part of the prison. The incident resulted in four prison employees' deaths and several injuries among guards and prisoners.
