Aston Martin demote Krack & name Cowell team principal
Friday, 10 January 2025 Aston Martin's new Formula 1 boss Andy Cowell will take on the role of team principal in addition to his position as chief executive officer.
The former CEO of Aston Martin says tariffs are "very bad for the car industry" and worries that the US will "no longer be competitive with the Chinese" in AI and new energy as a result. Andy Palmer adds that the "inevitable" increase in prices will decrease car production volume, meaning "people will lose their jobs in foreign factories, including the UK". Report by Brooksl.
