Ganjam tragedy: Odisha man with no medical degree conducts delivery; mother, newborn die

In Odisha's Ganjam district, a nursing home proprietor, Mangulu Charan Pradhan, has been arrested for allegedly performing a delivery without medical qualifications, resulting in the tragic deaths of a mother and her newborn. Police reports indicate that the procedure was conducted with the assistance of two auxiliary nurse midwives, neither of whom were qualified doctors.
