Assam CM engaged in lawless, illegal activities: Prashant Bhushan
Sunday, 24 August 2025 () Senior advocate Prashant Bhushan criticized Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, accusing him of illegal activities like land grabbing and pushing out citizens, while Sarma alleges that Bhushan and others are working to weaken the state. Bhushan questioned Sarma's fear of outside scrutiny, citing illegal evictions and land seizures for corporations. He also condemned sedition cases against journalists.
