Postal services to the US ‘temporarily suspended’ amid new rules

India has temporarily halted postal services to the US due to new American customs rules. US-bound air carriers are unable to carry shipments due to a lack of clarity regarding duty collection on goods valued over $100, effective August 29. Letters, documents, and gifts under $100 will still be delivered.
